Depending on the course you take the learning curve will be higher or lower.
1-day Introductory Windsurf Course:
This 1-day Introductory Windsurf Course is designed to get your up and windsurfing with the basic ideas and skills you'll need. The course consists of a 2 hour group lesson plus 1 hour to practice your newly acquired skills. Once you've finished the 3-hour course, you are welcome to book more windsurf lessons or continue renting a windsurf to keep practising. If you are tired after the 2-hour class and prefer to use your 1 hour practice time another time, that's no problem.
2-day Introductory Windsurf Course:
This is a 6-hour course split across 2 days. There is a 2-hour windsurfing class plus 1 hour of practice per day. You'll learn sailing directions and the basic turns. Once completed, you can continue renting equipment or book into more classes. The hour of practice can be used on a different day from the classes if you prefer.
3-day Introductory Windsurf Course:
This 9-hour windsurfing course is our best seller and is really the gold standard course that we offer. The course is spread over three days, with 3 hours per day. Each day consists of 2 hours of lessons plus 1 hour of windsurfing practice. In this windsurfing course you will learn to ride in all sailing directions with ease and you'll master slow and fast tacks and gybes. You will also learn to assemble and disassemble the windsurfing equipment. If you prefer to use your 1 hour practice time on a different day rather than after the class, that's no problem.
5-day Introductory Windsurf Course:
This course is our most comprehensive windsurfing course. It is designed for students who want to learn everything there is to know about this wonderful sport. Upon completing the 5-day Introductory Windsurf Course you'll have all the necessary tools to become an experienced windsurfer. Key learning points in this course are to assemble and disassemble the windsurfing equipment, absolute control of all navigation directions, as well as basic and advanced tacking and jibing manoeuvers plus introduction to navigation with a harness and first glides in windsurfing. The windsurfing course is split across 5 days. The sessions are 3 hours per day and consist of 2 hours of class plus 1 hour of windsurfing practice. If after 2 hours of class you're tired and prefer to use the practice hour another time, that's fine.
